Support for research projects

EMAS provides funding to support research undertaken by EMAS junior members. Applications are considered once a year. The deadline is 31 December 12 pm CET. The maximum award is EUR 15,000.

Pharmaceutical companies cannot apply.

To apply, you need to:

• Hold an EMAS membership of at least 1 year (updated on January 1, 2025)
• Fill out the application form
• Submit the ethics committee approval
• Submit a cover letter in English to the office of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (info@emas-online.org). The cover letter should include notification of your EMAS membership and any existing conflicts of interest.
• A scientific curriculum vitae should also accompany each application

Applications will be assessed by members of the European Menopause and Andropause Society board and, if necessary, other independent scientific experts. Those with any personal or financial conflict of interests will be excluded from the assessment process. The decision is final and binding, and there is no option for appeal.

Please note that the research must be completed within 1 year of the award date. Successful applicants are required to submit a report to EMAS within 6 months of completion of the project and present their findings/data at the next EMAS congress.
